My bit for Green Peace!

I have a heard a lot about global warming and it's after effects on climate change. It is quite visible that nature is now behaving violently.
In India itself we can see that Monsoon is not following normal patterns. Global Warming and Climate change are becoming hot topic to discuss by everyone on any kind of forums.
I too was thinking of doing something so as to contribute my bit. I subscribed Indian Express instead of TOI as they were the only ones which were using recycled papers, but the content was not upto the mark in comparison to TOI, So it didn't worked.
I read a lot about the possible reasons for global warming on internet and found out that the main cause for global warming is the activities of man that has lead to an increase in the so called greenhouse gases which include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxide etc. the gases have created an effect of green house on the earths surface which prevents the reflection of the rays from sun and thus causes the increase in temperature. Carbon dioxide concentration in the air has increased due to the emissions from cars, airplanes, power plants, industries etc.
I somewhere read that Money Plant is a household plant which can be grown easily in any place and is helpful in reducing CO2 levels and is also efficient at removing indoor pollutants such as formaldehyde, xylene, and benzene.
It is never too late for doing your bit to prevent global warming.
